Strength training plays an important role in gaining and maintaining muscle mass and bone density so that we can maximally function while doing every day movements like walking, sitting, bending over, pushing, pulling, and jumping! Building a strong body from the inside out will prove to have lasting physical impacts, but can also bolster our confidence, improve our stress responses, and support creating a strong mindset. Join me in class to see and FEEL the results for yourself!
I know that it's not easy to do something new or something that feels uncomfortable. The most common barrier (besides time) that I hear often, is the anxiety of working out in front of people. We all understand and most likely have felt the same way. The women who have joined in are all lovely, each one of them unique and different but as a group, welcoming, kind, and in the studio for the same reason - to work on themselves and build a healthy body and mind. We are a community eager to support and encourage in any way that works for you. Join in. We can't wait to meet you!

The way I teach yoga is truly from the heart. I want everyone who comes to my classes to feel comfortable. To let go of any preconceived ideas of what a yoga class should be, or should look like. We are all there to focus on our breath, to move our bodies, to spend time on ourselves, regardless of our abilities. Yoga has been a gift to me and my life, and I can’t wait to share that gift with you.
